DUBAI: Big-ticket EDM superstars Armin Van Buuren and Tiesto are set to entertain fans in Doha during the Qatar World Cup that kicks off next month.
Dubbed the Daydream festival, the event will also feature a dozen other top-bill EDM artists and will take place at the Doha Golf Club from Nov. 22 to Dec.18.
Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Alok, Timmy Trumpet, Major Lazer Soundsystem, Nervo, Jonas Blue, Paul Van Dyk, Ferry Corsten and Nicky Romero are set to perform as well.
Launched in Belgium in 2010, Daydream has since taken the party internationally with festivals taking place in Netherlands, Mexico, China and Spain, before coming to Doha for the first time in 2019.
Van Buuren is a Dutch DJ and record producer from Leiden, South Holland. Since 2001, he has hosted A State of Trance, a weekly radio show which is broadcast to nearly 40 million listeners in 84 countries. He has been ranked the number one DJ by DJ Mag a record of five times, four years in a row.
Grammy Award-winning Tiesto is a Dutch DJ and music producer who was voted “the Greatest DJ of All Time” by Mix magazine in a 2010/2011 poll amongst fans.
