This will be the first time that the iconic aircraft has returned to South America since the suspension of passenger flights due to the Covid-19 pandemic in March.
Gloria Guevara, WTTC chief executive, said: “While protecting public health is paramount, blanket travel bans cannot be the answer. They have not worked in the past and they will not work now.”
